“Producing metal parts is not that complicated when you know how to do it. The know-how at Scansolo is rooted all the way back in a blacksmith's workshop at the start of the 20th century. The skills have improved as they have been transferred from father to son for four generations. We have always been developers of production and the workpieces we make. We do not simply manufacture the parts that are ordered from us but think continuously how pieces could be combined or working phases reduced in some other way”, Ari-Pekka Bergendahl says.
Scansolo strives to make complicated things simple, with precision. This means that we collaborate with clients and designers. It also means that we have a lot of expertise and pride in what we do, flexibility in our working hours and an Ostrobothnian work ethic at the workshop.
- "We are a small organisation that can make quick decisions. Our flexibility is also due to our professional staff who want to do their best. Here in Ostrobothnia we tend to get to the point and keep to what we promise", says Factory Manager Markku Rinnasto.
